My Thoughts on Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal

My father had shared with me a work by his favorite satirist Jonathan Swift. Reading this work shocked me on multiple levels. However, what I found most interesting as a student still learning to write is how Swift uses satire to deliver a powerful message.
